Job purpose summary:
* Persons in this position will be performing a variety of skilled duties in production and freezer areas including, but not limited to; picking, loading, unloading, and stacking product.
* There are 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available for this position
* Pay rates between $13.00-13.50/hour
Duties and responsibilities:
* Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
* Ensure all procedures are done accurately, safely, and efficiently.
* Move product as required
* Pick orders
* Build and wrap pallets
* Load/unload trailers as needed
* Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
* Communicate with various co-workers
* Label pallets
* Move product between freezer areas
* Complete necessary paperwork
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Valid Drivers License
* Reliable transportation
* Ability to pass a drug screen
* Ability to pass a client specific background check
* Self-starter
* Detail oriented
* Team oriented
* Good attendance and reliability
Equipment Used:
* Safety Glasses
* Steel toed boots
* Bump cap
* Forklift
* Pallet jack
* Scanners
Working conditions:
* Persons should be comfortable working in extreme cold.
* Shifts are assigned and overtime may be required.
* Work will require rotating job duties throughout the shift
Physical requirements:
* Frequent sitting and standing throughout the shift
* Lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively up to 8 or more hours
* Stooping, standing, bending, lifting, twisting, and crouching intermittently
* Ability to work in extreme cold, freezer temperatures
Direct reports:
* This employee will not have any positions that will directly report to them.
