About The Position

PAY $17.80 HOUR Responsibilities: Operates in a safe manner, and in accordance to all company policies and procedures. Uses a handheld computer to pick and scan product. Communicates effectively with other TM's and assists in coordinating to accomplish all assigned tasks. Operates powered pallet jack, forklift and/or reach truck. Inspects daily, charges batteries, maintains battery water level, and changes batteries as necessary. Delivers raw materials, packaging, and pallets to the appropriate production areas. Moves inventory in an organized manner to store in a subzero freezer, cooler, and a dry goods area. Moves finished goods and work-in-progress from production lines to the shipping area. Unloads trucks. Covers and stretch-wraps pallets. Ensures assigned production lines are continuously supplied with clean raw materials and packaging. Records movement transactions in the SAP system. Ensures all raw materials and finished goods are labeled correctly. Maintain an organized and clean work environment according to 5S principles, GMP's, and USDA regulations. Reports any damages, discrepancies, unsafe behaviors, and risks to Lead.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift a 50 pounds and push/pull 100 lb.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must wear steel/composite toe boots that conform to site requirements.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment ( -10 degrees below zero to 40 degrees F).
  • Must be willing to accomplish other duties as assigned.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • 6 months continuous work history with on employer in the past 12 months.
  • Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
  • Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
