About The Position

The Formax Mechanical Adjuster is responsible for maintaining manufacturing operation through the performance of machine maintenance and troubleshooting; Setting up machinery with proper tooling to produce the various products; Maintaining and/or repairing machinery to good working condition for producing high quality. Shift Q Weekend Nights: Long week: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Thursday 9pm-7am Short Week: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7pm-7am

Requirements

Must be able to complete a 6-12 month training program and successfully pass the set-up test. Failure to pass this test will result in removal from the position and being reassigned which may or may not be on your current shift.
No disciplinary action at a Report of Conference level or above in past 12 months
Ability to perform at above average productivity level as a Mfg Associate 5 while maintaining quality & safety standards established for the operation
Demonstrated above average mechanical ability
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to learn department machinery and processes, and operate all machines within the department within 90 days
Must be able to learn and understand SPC and Problem Solving Techniques and be able to use as diagnostic tools within 30 days
Must have a good safety record
Must have good housekeeping and organizational skills
Ability to work independently without continual supervision

Nice To Haves

Electronic experience or education
Knowledge of/experience in pneumatics and hydraulics
Experience with cold forming equipment
Personal computer skills
