Forward Deployed Software Engineer, New Grad

Northslope Technologies Inc.

About The Position

At Northslope, we believe in giving early-career engineers the opportunity to make immediate, tangible impact. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Northslope, you will be responsible for helping our customers solve their most valuable problems, working closely with users to conceive, architect, build, and maintain applications that make a measurable impact on their business. Day to day, you’ll understand a customer’s most critical objectives and build operationalized workflows on their enterprise data that end users actually use to make change within the business. You’ll iterate quickly, build from scratch, and help organizations transform their operations at uncommon speed. This is not a typical new grad role. You won’t be stuck maintaining legacy code or working on backend services no one sees. Instead, you’ll partner closely with customer users, understand their real-world problems, and ship end-to-end applications that improve business outcomes. Think of it as business strategy meets engineering — fast-paced, high-impact, and deeply collaborative.

Requirements

  • An obsession with helping your customer win, even when it goes beyond the original “scope”. You eat hard customer problems for breakfast and take pride in delivering solutions that actually drive value.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude. You love breaking down complex problems and building end-to-end solutions that actually work.
  • Proficiency in coding fundamentals.
  • Ability to work independently and own outcomes autonomously. You'll always have support, but we're looking for teammates who want to be in the driver's seat and fully own their work.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external teammates with varying levels of technical proficiency. We embed with our customers and join their teams, you'll need both technical and people skills to succeed.
  • Willingness to travel as-needed for client implementation work. Every project is different, but typically projects involve travel 10-33% of the time.
  • Enthusiasm for working hybrid-in-person at our London or New York hub offices and onsite with our customers.
  • Engineering degree, preferred in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2025 or 2026 Graduates.
