We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and dedicated Foster Care Case Manager to serve as a cornerstone of support for youth in Scott and Fentress Counties . In this role, you aren’t just managing a caseload; you are an advocate, a navigator, and a steady presence for children working toward a brighter future. Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology) or Education is required.
  • Team Spirit: Ability to collaborate with a dedicated team of advocates and accept professional supervision.
  • Integrity: Must pass an extensive background check and drug screen.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle the physical requirements of the role (standing, climbing stairs, lifting up to 40 lbs) and the emotional weight of child welfare.
  • Citizenship: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

  • Advocacy: Represent the best interests of youth at court hearings, school meetings, and child/family team meetings.
  • Mentorship: Provide weekly direct casework services, building relationships with the youth on your caseload.
  • Planning: Develop and implement treatment plans and conduct intake studies to ensure every child receives the right level of care.
  • Coordination: Arrange monthly family visits, monitor educational progress and school attendance, and coordinate medical and therapeutic services.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise, up-to-date case records and prepare monthly progress reports for families and referring agencies.
