About The Position

Requirements

  • A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program, or a related field (sociology, psychology, counseling, or special education) with a student placement in casework services OR one year of experience providing casework services to children and families; OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with at least one year of experience providing casework services to children and families; OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in any field with two years of experience providing casework services to children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized service and treatment plans that support the safety, stability, and well-being of children in foster care.
  • Provide ongoing case management, counseling support, and supervision to children and foster families.
  • Coordinate services across medical, educational, behavioral health, and community providers to ensure children receive comprehensive, continuous care.
  • Facilitate communication and healthy interactions between birth families, foster parents, and children to support permanency goals.
  • Monitor progress and regularly assess care plans, making adjustments to meet evolving needs.
  • Partner with foster parents by providing guidance, support, and resources to help create safe and nurturing home environments.
  • Assist with the recruitment, assessment, and training of foster parents.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to develop and implement coordinated service plans.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and case records in compliance with organizational, state, and COA standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders while contributing to a collaborative, supportive team environment.
