About The Position

The Founding Sales Account Executive will play a critical role in establishing and scaling the company's enterprise sales motion. This position requires a high-performing sales professional who is capable of owning the entire sales cycle while contributing directly to the development of the company's go-to-market strategy. The role requires strong pipeline generation capabilities, deep ownership of enterprise deal cycles, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across financial institutions. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership to shape pricing strategies, refine messaging, and help establish the early sales infrastructure that will support long-term growth. Candidates must demonstrate consistent success closing complex enterprise deals and show the ability to operate effectively within early-stage startup environments.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of professional sales experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a closing Account Executive
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise deals valued at $100,000+ ACV
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Experience managing the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Prior experience working at early-stage startups or high-growth technology companies
  • Strong ability to generate pipeline independently through outbound prospecting
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage executive-level stakeholders
  • Stable career progression with no pattern of job hopping
  • Candidates who have primarily worked within large enterprise sales environments without startup exposure will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into banks, fintech companies, crypto organizations, or financial institutions
  • Prior experience within fintech infrastructure, compliance technology, RegTech, or enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Background selling solutions into regulated industries
  • Experience closing six-figure to seven-figure enterprise deals
  • Demonstrated experience helping build early-stage sales processes or playbooks

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire enterprise sales cycle , including prospecting, qualification, discovery, negotiation, and closing
  • Build and manage a pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting and relationship development
  • Sell directly to banks, fintech companies, crypto organizations, and financial institutions
  • Develop relationships with compliance leaders, operations executives, and senior financial decision-makers
  • Partner directly with the CEO and go-to-market leadership to refine sales strategy, messaging, pricing, and product positioning
  • Contribute to building the company's initial sales playbook, processes, and sales infrastructure
  • Support development of a predictable, data-driven pipeline through structured outbound efforts
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and mentoring future sales team members as the organization scales
  • Represent the company professionally during high-level client conversations and enterprise sales negotiations
