About The Position

Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed startup building an AI-powered platform designed to modernize and automate the event planning process for companies and communities. Requirements

• 0–5 years of software engineering experience
• Experience building full-stack web applications from scratch
• Strong frontend development experience, especially with React
• Experience working with modern web technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Python, or SQL
• A track record of shipping projects or products independently
• Strong product intuition and attention to user experience
• Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where engineers wear multiple hats
• Ability to collaborate directly with customers and internal teams

Nice To Haves

• Previous startup or 0-to-1 product experience
• Personal or open-source projects demonstrating passion for building software
• Experience building AI-enabled products or developer tooling
• Strong visual design sense or product design instincts
• Leadership experience in school organizations, clubs, or entrepreneurial projects
• Interest in event planning, travel, or building products that support real-world communities

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack features that directly impact customers and enterprise users
• Develop modern web applications using React and other contemporary frameworks
• Work closely with founders, designers, and customers to translate real-world needs into product features
• Build and integrate AI-powered functionality that automates parts of the event planning workflow
• Own projects end-to-end—from idea and design to deployment and iteration
• Help shape the engineering culture, development standards, and technical roadmap
• Contribute to both product development and occasional operational or customer-facing work as needed
• Ship quickly and iterate based on real user feedback
