Principal Duties and Responsibilities : The FP&A Associate will provide wholistic financial management of a portfolio of ~ 1GW of t hermal and Utility scale r enewable power plants in operations. Wholistic financial management includes monthly performance review, monthly forecasting of EBITDA and earnings, annual budgeting, identifying financial risk and opportunities, working with asset management and operations leaders to optimize financial performance Support lender and tax equity relationship and reporting Core Competencies : Candidates need excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a demanding team environment. They should also possess the following competencies : Ability to coordinate different projects cross functional. Influence without direct authority Good communicator, able to tell business driver stories from the numbers Good analytical and time management skills Bring s trong attention to detail and ability to zoom out and see the big picture Proven ability to produce high quality work a nd meet deadlines Has experience moving multiple projects forward and juggling competing priorities
Requirements
- 5 + years’ experience in preparing and coordinating budgets, forecasts, and related reporting.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) including experience with financial reporting, forecasting and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
- Ability to work effectively with accounting systems , SAP , BPC, Anaplan or similar
- Experience building 3 statement financial models from scratch .
- Has experience with financial oversight fo r renewable power plant s or thermal power plant .
- Fluent in English (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting , or a relevant field
- Ability to coordinate different projects cross functional.
- Influence without direct authority
- Good communicator, able to tell business driver stories from the numbers
- Good analytical and time management skills

- Coal power plant experience is a plus
- proficiency in Spanish is a plus
