About DelRicht Research DelRicht Research is a national network of integrated clinical research sites embedded within physicians’ practices that offer the benefit of a dedicated research team with the support of a centralized team. Our clinical trials provide new treatment options for our patients, and ultimately our goal is to move medicine forward by getting new medications FDA approved. Presently our network stretches across 33 clinical research sites throughout the United States in 18 states. NOTE: This is a full-time onsite position in New Orleans, LA. We believe in-person collaboration is key to our success. No hybrid or remote-seeking candidates, please. Preference will be given to local applicants. Job Overview As a FP&A Associate, you will play a key role in providing data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making within the organization. You will primarily work closely with executives across the company to track revenue and costs by project & region. The role involves financial analysis and KPI tracking, while supporting key quarterly departmental initiatives and projects. It demands exceptional attention to detail, clear communication, and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature, preferably Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Economics
  • At least 2 years work experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant, or similar role
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF(S), SUMIFS, PivotTables, dynamic array formulas (FILTER, SORT), text/date functions, and data validation
  • Continuous improvement attitude with ability to fill in knowledge gaps by leaning on large language models or other resources to independently solve complex business challenges quickly
  • Produce extremely accurate work and have a high attention to detail
  • Be a great storyteller - you possess the ability to create visually pleasing & easily digestible executive level insights from large sets of raw data
  • Solve problems independently while exercising reasoned judgment and decision making when solutions are unclear
  • Thrive in the management of multiple competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Accept ownership of tasks from inception through completion and assume responsibility for personal success
  • Adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing CPA or MBA
  • Visualization experience with Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
  • Familiarity with SQL, R, Python, SAS, STATA or similar programming languages is a +
  • Previous research or healthcare operations experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clinical sites across the US regarding finances and budgeting
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and variances to budget
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of clinical research data to assess study performance
  • Other tasks as assigned in alignment with quarterly departmental goals
