About The Position

The Fractional Senior Finance Director will operate across the MarketFully group, providing part-time, high-level financial leadership and strategic support on a short-term basis, likely to be around 3-6 months. The role balances hands-on operational finance responsibilities with group-level oversight and planning. Immediate impact needed on integration of new acquisition and integration of people, process, systems.

Requirements

  • Senior finance professional (Director level or above) with extensive experience in multifaceted or group structures – international experience required (currencies, laws, etc.)
  • Track record of improving financial processes, supporting strategic initiatives, and influencing commercial outcomes
  • Comfortable working independently and across multiple teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to operate in a fast-moving environment
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) desirable

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support leadership teams within each business unit on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. Guide decision-making with accurate analysis and scenario planning.
  • Review and enhance financial processes and controls to ensure best practice, compliance, and operational efficiency across all companies in the group. Identify areas for process improvement and oversee implementation.
  • Lead preparation and review of monthly management reports and board packs. Present financial insights to management, boards, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Oversee group-wide cash management, including forecasting and liquidity planning. Advise on working capital optimization and capital allocation.
  • Mentor existing finance team members, building group-wide capability and consistency. Where necessary, direct and support with hands-on finance tasks (e.g., reconciliations, variance analyses).
  • Provide support for M&A transactions, fundraising, budgeting for new projects, and integration of new entities as required.
  • Monitor and manage financial risk and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, legal and reporting requirements across the group.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax advisors, and banks on behalf of the group, coordinating requirements and deliverables.
