In this role, you will help design, implement, and continuously improve fraud prevention strategies while actively monitoring fraud trends and responding to emerging threats. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fraud analysis or fraud prevention (tax industry experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of fraud trends, detection methods, and remediation strategies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience using Snowflake
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in Sigma or Tableau
  • Familiarity with the tax industry

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, detect, and analyze fraudulent activity, trends, and emerging patterns
  • Investigate suspicious account activity and document findings, actions taken, and outcomes
  • Manage and respond to incoming requests and emails from internal support teams and external customers
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with internal departments and customers as needed
  • Collect and prepare data in response to subpoenas issued to the company
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to mitigate fraud and security risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve fraud prevention processes and controls
