About The Position

About the Role & Team The Fraud Investigation department is responsible for investigating internal fraud and Cast Privilege abuse at The Walt Disney World Resort, across all lines of business, including but not limited to: merchandise, food & beverage, rooms, ticketing, and employee Cast privileges. The investigative process includes research, analysis, observations, witnesses, and admission-seeking interviews. Additional responsibilities of the group include managing special projects and investigations as needed, as well as generating case leads. What You Will Do: The Fraud Investigator role is responsible for investigating internal fraud and Cast Privilege abuse at the Walt Disney World Resort. Specific investigative tasks will vary but may include: reviewing exception reporting to identify potential fraud trends, identifying case leads via internal systems and reports, conducting in-depth point-of-sale research, reviewing camera surveillance, performing integrity shops and observations, interviewing employees, representing the Company at grievances and unemployment hearings, and partnering with law enforcement as needed. Research and analyze potential fraud scenarios in partnership with peers, leadership, and Fraud Detection. Interview suspect with the ability to react quickly and decisively. Partner with Operations, Security, Human Resources, Employee Relations, and Labor Relations. Navigate systems, tools, Disney platforms, and other technology as needed. Assist Investigation Managers on special projects and department efficiencies (to include documenting processes, Fraud Awareness roadshows, other)

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field (Operations, Data Analysis, Fraud Investigations, etc.)
  • Willingness to conduct admission-seeking interviews
