About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor for the 99-room La Quinta Inn & Suites in Round Rock, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests; during check-in throughout their stay, and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. You will also ensure all revenue is posted and balanced correctly, as well as completing all necessary reports. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure guests have a smooth experience by handling front desk operations, resolving guest needs, and preparing accurate financial reports overnight for the next day.

Requirements

Previous hospitality or related experience helpful.
Computer experience required.
Must be detail-oriented and able to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to report financial information.
Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.

Responsibilities

Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Ensure that all guests are checked in/out in a friendly, efficient, courteous and confidential manner based on resort standards.
Fully comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system, copiers, fax machines and other office equipment.
Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Director of La Quinta when requested.
Provide, distribute, and process all required audit reports.
Prepare the Front Office for the morning shift and reset day’s business.
