About The Position

The receptionist is the first point of contact for our company. The primary function is to welcome guests and greet visitors to the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. The receptionist's duties will include administrative support to various departments as needed. As a Receptionist, you should provide exceptional customer service and an overall welcoming environment. You should also be able to handle emergencies promptly and effectively while streamlining office operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong phone skills.
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance.
  • Professional and friendly attitude.
  • Punctual with strong attendance history.
  • Excellent customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greets and directs visitors, notifies department/office staff of their arrival.
  • Operates and manages phone system by answering, directing, and taking messages for the appropriate person.
  • Provides general office support such as copying, scanning, faxing and sending notifications via email.
  • Work with Accounting to document, check and copy invoices.
  • Assist Shipping/Receiving by checking in/out drivers delivering, input shipped loads, print delivery tickets.
  • Use Salesforce to insert orders, fax confirmations to customers, process internal sales numbers, schedule delivery appointments for jobsites, confirm and assist customers and salesman on product shipments.
  • Work with Human Resources on applicant interviews and other duties as assigned.
