How you’ll contribute A Front Desk Representative within the Family Practice department, who excels in this role: Assumes responsibility for the efficient, productive, and professional operation of the front office. Duties include Checking in, Co-Pay collection and appointment call reminders. Manages telephone and patient reception, scheduling of patients, collecting patient demographic and insurance information. Maintaining non-clinical supplies and receiving/documenting patient payments. Comfortable working with 30-45 patients throughout the day. Schedule: This position is a Full Time, Benefited position. Working hours are day shift general business hours, 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year experience working in a medical/business office setting with strong customer service.
  • Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations, especially Medicare & Medicaid.
  • Experience working with medical terminology, electronic medical records and scheduling systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
