Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to utilize practice management, EMR, and Clockwise software accurately and efficiently.
  • Professional appearance and manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of insurance/medical terms and policies preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and handle check-in/check-out process, including use of Clockwise system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively and courteously handle patient and family interactions and interactions with other staff.
  • Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Collect patient payments
  • Other duties as assigned.
