About The Position

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking to hire a Front Desk Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, vendors, and employees entering the office suite, directing them to the appropriate personnel or office as needed. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

Requirements

  • 5+ years of customer service experience (Preferred)
  • Great customer service and strong verbal communication skills
  • Fast learner and positive attitude
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Self-motivated with great attention to detail.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk and lobby environment
  • Manage temporary badging coordination with security
  • Manage visitor check-in procedures and maintain visitor log
  • Assist with maintaining a professional office environment by monitoring shared areas (reception, kitchens, and conference rooms) and addressing general upkeep needs.
  • Monitor and maintain office supply levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure suites remain properly stocked.
  • Monitor usage of kitchen items (coffee, utensils, snacks, etc), replenish daily, and reorder as required
  • Coordinate with facilities / custodial staff as needed to address maintenance or cleanliness issues in shared areas.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute packages and mail for the entire 8209 complex
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to general inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain databases, spreadsheets and other records as required.
  • Draft correspondence and electronic messages as required.
