Officers will greet visitors, answer phone calls, direct guests to personnel, and maintain a polished customer-service presence while supporting site security. This role combines reception duties with standard security responsibilities and requires strong communication, professionalism, and situational awareness.

Requirements

  • Valid Security Officer/Guard License or ability to obtain.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Professional, personable, and customer-service oriented.
  • Comfortable engaging with visitors and employees.
  • Strong situational awareness and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Basic computer/tablet skills.
  • Stand/sit for 1 hour without break.
  • Walk ½ mile and climb 20 stairs without stopping.
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Office familiarity
  • 1+ years Security, Military, Law Enforcement
  • 2+ Years customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage visitors; check in guests and assist with directions.
  • Answer phone calls and route them to the correct personnel.
  • Monitor access points, verify IDs, and observe surveillance systems.
  • Conduct light patrols and report safety or security concerns.
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies per protocol.
  • Maintain accurate activity and visitor logs.
  • Enforce site-specific policies and Post Orders.
  • Additional duties may be assigned based on client or company needs.
