Holiday Inn Express Moline is seeking an experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join the team! The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience, at least 3 years of supervisory experience, and will be responsible for working closely with the Front Desk Manager to oversee all aspects of the front desk operations. Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Evening and weekend availability

Responsibilities

  • Performs all functions of guest service agents while handling daily operations and supervising front desk functions
  • Communicates and works with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and prepared to company standards
  • Monitors the status of rooms and confers with Rooms Manager/Hotel Manager to maximize daily room revenue
  • Responsible for training and developing new GSA employees, teaching and enforcing all existing new policy and procedures
  • Responsible for staff scheduling/coverage and support
  • Supervises and delegates front desk responsibilities and provides follow-up
  • Monitors front office communications, morale and motivation
  • Responsible for preparing and training GSAs on daily deposits and change orders for courier
  • Oversees daily cash overage and shortages, verifies change box balance daily and investigates variances; communicating with manager
  • Performs other duties as may be required within own department or for other departments
