About The Position

Front End Managers on Duty (MOD) support store operations with a high degree of proficiency including but not limited to supervising, training and coaching of Front End staff. MODs provide prompt, friendly and courteous service while assisting customers in-person or through electronic communication. They ensure the integrity, cleanliness and safety of WFC premises while coordinating staffing and operations as required.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of Front End operations including, but not limited to, providing supervision, training, coaching and support to designated employees on checkout practices, customer service and/or ownership transactions, till security and POS troubleshooting.
  • Communicate and document unresolved issues and/or concerns to department management.
  • Ensure store safety and security at all times, following protocol for shoplifters and/or disorderly customers.
  • Be the point of contact for dealing with weather extremes, medical emergencies, accidents, injuries and illnesses; document all instances in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with store opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist as feasible with stocking and merchandising products and promptly communicate sign and/or pricing errors to appropriate management.
  • Observe and direct all WFC employees with regards to compliance with employment, safety and store policies and communicate issues to appropriate management.
  • Ensure department accountability for maintaining performance standards, provide daily supervision and leadership to designated employees and follow through promptly on documentation and coaching in compliance with WFC policies and practices.

  • Achieve WFC customer service standards for internal and external customers.

  • Uphold all personnel and operational policies, giving correction to staff and feedback to management as needed.
  • Achieve daily operational goals as directed by your supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of department areas and equipment and communicate and document any equipment maintenance and/or safety concerns to department management.
  • Report any problems with systems, tools and/or products to department supervisors.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by department management.
  • Assist customers in finding product and/or information, promptly and courteously answer and accurately route phone calls, messages and customer requests in compliance with established practices.
  • As directed, move into backstock, rotate, stage, stock and/or merchandise products in accordance with shift criteria.
  • Promote ownership and owner benefits consistently and positively.
