About The Position

The Friendly Toast is a unique “all day brunch and bar” restaurant with an eclectic, scratch-made menu. We pride ourselves on our safe and healthy workplace and our "come as you are" mentality. We are a unique and exciting restaurant that specializes in serving delicious all-day brunch meals and scratch-made dishes. The Friendly Toast is seeking engaging, motivated, problem-solvers who are ready to oversee daily operations and take on the responsibilities of a management role. Requirements

  • Experience in restaurant management, including experience in hiring, training, and supervising employees
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience managing inventory and ordering supplies
  • Passion for scratch-made food and commitment to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests and team members

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily restaurant operations, including managing staff and ensuring high-quality customer service
  • Hiring, training, and scheduling employees to ensure adequate coverage and optimal team performance
  • Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with the executive chef to develop and maintain a diverse, scratch-made menu that exceeds guest expectations
  • Providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests and team members
  • Evaluating employee performance, providing feedback, and implementing performance improvement plans as necessary
