About The Position

The Front of House Shift Lead is responsible for assisting front-of-house operations during their assigned shift, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and team performance. This role requires experience with duties such as customer service, operations, team development, cash handling and teamwork. This position works closely with the back-of-house team and management to ensure smooth service and that we consistently exceed guest expectations.

Requirements

  • Previous front-of-house or hospitality experience required

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with enthusiasm and ensure an exceptional hospitality experience
  • Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
  • Go above and beyond to create memorable guest experiences
  • Oversee shift flow, ensuring proper staffing coverage and efficient service
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the front-of-house area throughout the shift
  • Ensure all cleaning procedures, schedules, and checklists are completed
  • Follow and enforce all food handling procedures and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with back-of-house team members to ensure seamless service
  • Model exceptional hospitality and professionalism at all times
  • Provide real-time feedback and direction to ensure service standards are met
  • Assist with training new team members on policies, procedures, and service expectations
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment
  • Oversee register operations and ensure accurate and efficient guest checkouts
  • Monitor cash drawer accuracy and ensure all cash handling procedures are followed
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation when required
  • Collaborate with management and back-of-house teams to deliver a best-in-class guest experience
  • Support company initiatives and help achieve the goal of being every guest’s “Favorite Neighborhood Pizza Shop”
  • Step into service positions as needed to support the team during peak periods
