About The Position

Are you a customer-focused professional looking for a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a growing resort organization? Sun Outdoors Ocean City is seeking a Front Office Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our guests and help provide a welcoming, enjoyable, and seamless experience during their stay.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in hospitality or resort environments.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with computers and basic office software; experience with property management systems (PMS) a plus.
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations efficiently and accurately.
  • Answer questions, provide resort information, and address guest needs or concerns.
  • Handle reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations in person, by phone, or via email.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure rooms/sites and resort facilities meet guest expectations.
  • Promote resort amenities, activities, and events to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
  • Adhere to all resort policies, safety procedures, and local regulations.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
