About The Position

Position Summary: The Front Office Agent serves as the face of the hotel, delivering exceptional guest service from arrival to departure. This role is responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, answering guest inquiries, and resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive and memorable guest experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills; hotel PMS experience a plus
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system
  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
  • Answer phones, emails, and in-person inquiries accurately and courteously
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Process payments, room charges, and authorizations accurately
  • Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
  • Follow hotel policies, procedures, and security standards
