This position serves in a critical support role and is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties. Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and caring manner Provide directions, answers questions, and meet a variety of customer service needs Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and consistently represent the organization in a positive and highly professional manner Register patients, check in/check out, accurately collect co-pays, obtain patient referral information, send/receive fax information as needed Data entry into the practice management software program(s) Maintain excellent working relationship with all physicians, rehab providers, management, staff of internal and external departments Prepare batches and reconcile patient payments

Requirements

  • Must consistently demonstrate excellent customer services skills, be detail oriented, and be highly organized
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, resourcefulness and the ability to anticipate needs of clinic
  • Must be adept in technology with a thorough understanding of computer software, browsers and multiple operating systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in healthcare related field, preferred
