About The Position

As a Growth Engineer at MASV, you will serve as the primary technical architect of our acquisition and retention engine. You will bridge the gap between marketing and product engineering, moving fluidly between our marketing site and the core web application. Your mission is to eliminate friction in the user journey and own the technical execution of our growth roadmap, from the first search impression to the moment a user sends their first terabyte of data.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of full-stack development experience in a high-growth or SaaS environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Frontend Proficiency: Strong expertise in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind/Sass).
  • Backend & APIs: Proficiency with backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Vue.js) and experience integrating third-party APIs (Stripe, HubSpot).
  • CMS Expertise: Proven experience architecting and extending Content Management Systems with custom code.
  • Analytics Mastery: In-depth understanding of event-based tracking architecture (Google Tag Manager, GA4) and conversion tracking.
  • Problem Solving: A "velocity over perfection" mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical difficulties in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Webflow Expertise: Experience migrating to or extending Webflow with custom code and external data sources (WXP).
  • Testing: Experience designing and implementing A/B tests using standard experimentation frameworks.
  • AI Engineering: Experience with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs and building automated "agentic" scripts (Python/Node).
  • Programmatic SEO: Experience architecting database-led content strategies for SEO scaling.
  • SaaS Background: Previous experience working specifically in file transfer, video, or creative tech industries.
  • Cloudflare: Hands-on experience with DNS management and security features.

Responsibilities

  • Website Architecture & CMS Management: Architect, develop, and optimize the corporate marketing website and content management systems to ensure maximum scalability, security, and performance.
  • Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain custom components, calculators, and interactive tools using modern frontend and backend frameworks to drive user engagement.
  • Funnel Optimization: Design and execute high-velocity A/B tests and multivariate experiments across the marketing site and core product to improve conversion rates and onboarding flows.
  • Data Infrastructure & Analytics: Own the "Data Layer" and instrumentation of the growth stack, ensuring accurate event tracking and attribution modelling across the entire user lifecycle.
  • Technical SEO: Implement advanced technical SEO strategies, including structured data, Core Web Vitals optimization, and site architecture to secure global search rankings.
  • Marketing Automation & AI: Design and deploy automated workflows and AI-driven tools (using APIs or scripting) to accelerate internal marketing tasks and lead qualification.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage web infrastructure, including DNS, redirects, and CDN configurations to ensure high availability and speed.
  • Collaboration: Act as the technical liaison between the Marketing and Product Engineering teams to ensure code quality, security standards, and seamless integration of growth initiatives.
  • Champion the Customer: New users will see your properties first. Know our customer and work with the product team to create the world’s best onboarding into what is already an amazing product.
