About The Position

This position is responsible for the inspection, analysis, and grading of raw fruit in accordance with Tree Top's grading standards, quality requirements, and policies. Responsibilities include timely data entry into designated systems and close collaboration with internal personnel to communicate fruit condition, grading results, and receiving status. The role supports raw fruit receiving operations by ensuring accurate completion, processing, and filing of receiving documentation, including fruit tickets, invoicing, and distribution orders.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Working knowledge of fruit varieties.
Knowledge of lab procedures and analytical testing.
Working knowledge of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Food Defense, and Allergens.
Principles and practices of effective business communication; basic report writing methods and techniques; correct English usage, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
Pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
Accurately perform basic accounting and mathematical calculations.
Accurately record shipping/receiving information into M3 software.
Distinguish varieties of fruit.
Prepare clear, concise, and accurate correspondence, documents, reports and other written materials.
Read and interpret instructions, specifications, limits, and Tree Top's grading standards and policies.
Identify, research, and analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, and project consequences of proposed actions.
Learn and understand processes related to Fruit Procurement and Grower Services.
Effectively organize, plan, and execute.
Use computers and computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Meet behaviors established in Tree Top's performance management and development process.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in an agricultural industry is preferred.
Knowledge of fruit variety is preferred.
