Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
  • 2-4 years of experience in the Biopharmaceutical/Pharmaceutical Industry
  • In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
  • Experience in a regulated cGMP Lab
  • Experience in analytical methodology, such as chromatography (HPLC/GC/IC), KF, UV and common compendial methods required.
  • Experience in some specialty techniques required (LCMS, GCMS, PXRD, ICP, Dissolution, Disintegration).
  • Experienced in laboratory systems (LIMS, CDS, ELN) required.
  • Full understanding of laboratory requirements, PPD & client SOPs, ICH guidelines, USP requirements and FDA guidance
  • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with protein analysis by HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, ELISA or other techniques
  • Willing to learn and work with the team
  • Familiar with Microsoft office

Responsibilities

  • Plans and perform analytical testing of test samples independently using multiple analytical methods.
  • Develop or optimize and perform characterization methods with minimal supervision.
  • Planning and execution of method qualifications
  • Authoring of technical reports and SOPs
  • Present findings in meetings
  • Specific matter expert in at least one method/area, including training other analysts
  • Adherence to applicable timelines with independent time management
