About The Position

The FSQA Technician II monitors the production processes to ensure product is within food and safety quality standards. What you’ll do: Inspect and test raw materials to ensure vendor compliance with specifications and established procedures.As required, monitor current procedures to assure compliance to required specifications, reporting any findings to QA Manager for needed changes or adjustments.Put non-conforming product or unsanitary processing equipment on HOLD status.Perform technical operations such as taking and/or shipping samples, examining/analyzing product, recording results and taking appropriate corrective action.Assist with the completion of reports requested by management.Clean, maintain, and sanitize all equipment used in the Quality Control area according to established sanitary rules, regulations, and maintenance/calibration procedures.Basic cleaning of the lab including sweeping, dusting, and cleaning the counters.Inputting analytical dataAssist HR with the recruitment, hiring and training of sanitation personnel.Deliver samples for testing to outside laboratoriesPerform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities
