Overall Mandate: To prepare and cook products under the direction of the chef to be distributed to customers and stores.

Requirements

Working in a fast paced, high volume environment
Attention to detail
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to read and write in English
Handling up to 22.6 kg (50 lbs)
High school diploma or GED certificate
1-2 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

Relevant post- secondary education in food preparation and production would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food according to instructions ensuring that the quality and quantity standards are met
Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
Reading and preparing food orders
Measuring ingredients required for specific food items being prepared
Maintaining a high regard for Food Safety and Health and Safety standards in work areas
Ordering and receiving supplies
Other duties as required
