Fuel Delivery Driver
About The Position
Wortman Transportation is a family-owned distribution company founded in 2024. We currently service the Jack Flash convenience store chain, with 11 locations across Illinois. Our mission is to provide exceptional service to our clients with a commitment to safety, reliability, and quality. We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Part-Time Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Fuel Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring that fuel is delivered safely and on time to various locations within our distribution area. This is a local route position with no hauls exceeding 100 miles.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CDL experience
- Valid Class A CDL with HAZ-MAT endorsement
- Must hold a valid medical card
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently
- A clean driving record is a must
Nice To Haves
- Prior fuel delivery experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload fuel to designated locations
- Close out load orders using an electronic device
- Follow all DOT regulations and maintain compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management about any issues
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is in good working condition
- Assist with other duties as needed
