Fulfillment Loading Clerk
About The Position
Capitol Distributing is seeking a Warehouse Fulfillment Loading Clerk to join our distribution team. This role plays a vital part in our daily operations by ensuring products are accurately received, organized, loaded, and prepared for delivery. As a key member of our warehouse team, you’ll help ensure our customers receive the right products, on time, and in excellent condition. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong sense of accountability. At Capitol Distributing, our Warehouse Associates directly support the reliability and reputation of our business, keeping our operation running smoothly and efficiently every day. Schedule: Full-time swing Shift 4 days/week with 1 weekend day required. Shifts will be 10 to 12 hours in duration. Employees will receive 3 days off per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs and operational demands. About Capitol: Capitol Distributing is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho. Founded in 1983, Capitol delivers to retailers across the Western United States from its 300,000 square foot distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho.
Requirements
- Experience working in warehouse or large facility a plus
- Experience loading or unloading product a plus
- Ability to lift cases up to 60+ pounds
- Ability to handle loading equipment safely
- Must be 8 years old
- Full-time employees must be able to work occasional overtime upon request
Responsibilities
- Load outbound trucks/routes in order of delivery schedule
- Free stack most products into trailers
- Operate loading equipment as needed
- Use scanner to track product as it is loaded
- Physically inspect products for quality before loading onto trucks
- Keep trucks and loading area clean/ organized
- Other warehouse duties assigned
