We support many programs and agencies as both a prime and a subcontractor and created a strong reputation working with top tier partners doing work for all major Intelligence Community agencies, DoW, and Special Operations customers. Our engineer-led software teams develop technical solutions on an aggressive schedule across the DoW and IC to meet customer needs. Our engineers apply proven, repeatable software, technical, and analytical approaches to build solutions and have frequent interaction with end users to produce and deploy solutions. We bring experience in building, integrating and deploying AI/ML solutions using Google TensorFlow, Python scikit-learn, and other tools. Black Cape’s approach to solution development combines lessons learned from developing and deploying applications to customer cloud environments with industry best practices in Agile development and DevOps. We are expanding and need to hire motivated engineers to help build innovative solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate needs limited direction and is passionate about technology. Requirements

  • MUST have an Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 2+ years of professional experience needed for MOST of our opportunities
  • Proficient in at least ONE Object-Oriented language such as Python (preferred), Java, C# or C++
  • Proficient in at least one JavaScript framework like React, Backbone, Angular, Ember or Vue.js
  • Experience with at least one MVC framework like Spring, Django, Flask or Rails
  • Experience with at least ONE relational database, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or sqlite3
  • Experience working with Linux distributions like Ubuntu, RedHat, or CentOS
  • Working knowledge of web application basics like HTTP, HTML, REST, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Must be willing to go onsite up to 5 days per week

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language like Python, Bash, or Perl
  • Proficient with data engineering and ETL tools such as NiFi and Apache Airflow
  • Familiar with web server configuration on NGINX, Apache, or similar
  • Familiar with Bootstrap and Less
  • Experience with NoSQL storage like ElasticSearch, Accumulo, and MongoDB is a plus
