Requirements
- 6+ months previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA is required.
- Confidence with housekeeping, meal prep, and safe transfer techniques.
- Clear, compassionate communication and respect for client privacy.
- Strength to assist transfers or lift up to 25 lbs. when needed.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care & Dignity – Support bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility.
- Healthy Meals & Home Care – Cook simple, nutritious meals; keep living spaces clean and organized.
- Medication & Wellness – Provide timely reminders and track basic health cues.
- Active Companionship – Chat, play games, take walks, and accompany clients on errands or appointments.
- Understanding and knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease to provide appropriate care and strategies for patients; ability to follow unique and specific dementia-based care plans.
