About The Position

The Charlton Fire Department is seeking qualified candidates for an immediate opening for a full-time Firefighter/EMT (Paramedic Preferred). Ideal candidates will have experience in the delivery of prehospital emergency care, previous firefighting experience, and a desire to be engaged in a team focused organization. Candidates should be compassionate, energetic, and driven to make a difference in the community. There is no residency requirement. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED Valid Driver's License Ability to successfully complete the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Career Recruit Training Program or Equivalent and obtain Pro Board certification as FirefighterI/II. Possess and maintain Certifications as an EMT/Paramedic by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services. Possess and maintain CPR Certification. Requirements
