Responsibilities: The Fullstack Developer (DevOps Engineer) will support Barrow Wise's IRS project and perform the following duties: Reverse-engineer and document all existing EAIB integrations, Flow services, and Broker assets. Design standardized APIs and event contracts using OpenAPI and canonical message schemas. Apply standardized API lifecycle governance, including versioning, deprecation policies, contract testing, and documentation. Replace webMethods adapters with microservice-based connectors for JDBC, MQ, and other external systems. Refactor transformation and routing logic from Flow services into stateless microservices. Implement saga-based workflows and correlation strategies to replace long- running webMethods orchestrations. Integrate resilience, throttling, and reliability patterns using Resilience4j or service mesh policies at the API gateway and messaging layers. Containerize all new integration microservices and deploy them using Kubernetes with proper config/secrets management. Implement end-to-end observability: structured logging, distributed tracing, and Prometheus metrics. Establish secure authentication/authorization using OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, and encrypted configuration management. Build automated CI/CD pipelines to compile, test, containerize, and scan EAIB microservices, and support automated deployments. Generate Software Bills of Material (SBOMs) and perform automated security and compliance checks on dependencies, container images, and build artifacts. Perform Certificate lifecycle management and perform POA&M along with security vulnerability mitigation tasks, including identifying and documenting vulnerabilities, application components, including tracking certificate expiration, coordinating with security and infrastructure teams, executing certificate updates or renewals through the appropriate deployment or configuration mechanisms, validating successful implementation, and ensuring minimal disruption to system availability and operations.
