About The Position

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research ("the Foundation") is seeking top talent for its Fundraising Coordinator position. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Fundraising, this position provides high-level coordination, organizational support, and execution assistance to the SVP, Head of Fundraising, and the broader fundraising leadership team. This role ensures that meetings, deliverables, materials, and communications are organized, tracked, and advanced effectively within a fast-paced, high-volume fundraising environment — serving as a connective thread across Fundraising, Special Events, Fundraising Strategy & Operations (FSO), and the Campaign team. This position plays a key role in maintaining focus and momentum on high-priority fundraising activities by supporting leadership travel, meetings, donor engagement opportunities, and follow-through on key priorities. This role requires sound judgment and strong organizational skills to manage competing demands, keep leaders and fundraisers aligned around donor strategy and campaign goals, and bring clarity and structure to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Requirements

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Fundraising Coordination
  • Manage and track the SVP’s fundraising priorities, ensuring materials, deliverables, and deadlines are coordinated, reviewed, and completed on time
  • Maintain structured systems for routing documents, tracking tasks, and flagging urgent or time-sensitive items requiring leadership attention
  • Coordinate preparation of briefings, proposals, and materials for fundraising leadership meetings, donor strategy sessions, and onsite gatherings
  • Onsite, Travel & Donor Engagement Support
  • Lead coordination of fundraising travel, onsite meetings, and leadership participation in donor and campaign activities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align donor engagement opportunities with leadership travel, manage outreach trackers, and schedule pipeline meetings
  • Ensure itineraries, briefings, and background materials are accurate, complete, and distributed in advance; track post-travel follow-up and thank-yous in collaboration with partners
  • Training, Portfolio Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate fundraiser trainings in partnership with Revenue Growth, Operations, and FSO, including agendas, logistics, and follow-up materials
  • Support portfolio updates and deadlines in collaboration with Operations, without owning systems or data standards
  • Identify operational or communication gaps and surface opportunities for improved processes, alignment, and consistency across teams
  • Administrative & Communication Support
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications, agendas, recaps, and follow-up materials to support team alignment and execution
  • Manage shared calendars, meeting preparation documents, and action trackers for fundraising leadership and team coordination
  • Serve as a central point of contact for internal fundraising coordination, leadership scheduling, trainings, and routing donor or prospect inquiries to appropriate partners
  • Coordinate updates to donor materials, event briefings, and shared assets in partnership with Relationship Managers, Fundraising Strategy, and FSO project managers
  • Success Measures

  • Improved organization, clarity, and responsiveness across fundraising communications and leadership engagements
  • Positive feedback from fundraising leadership and partners on coordination and support
  • Increased consistency in training participation, portfolio hygiene, and cross-team communication
