About The Position

FURNITURE RESTORATION SPECIALIST AT A GLANCE: The Furniture Restorationist, Operations reports directly to the Manager, Operations, and is part of the Operations Team. The position is responsible for assessing damages and repairing them proficiently and with appropriate methods of repair for case goods, leather, marble, and upholstery according to departmental standards. DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER: Assess and repair furniture proficiently with appropriate methods for case goods, leather, marble, and upholstery according to departmental standards. Read and understand parts lists Ability to view product as a customer maintaining highest quality of perception Produce a quality score of 85% or better for all repairs Maintain organized and safe workspace for self and others Coach and direct proper lifting techniques Exhibit personal excellence by accepting cross-training opportunities. Maintain personal and facility safety by following all material handling and warehouse safety guidelines. Follow company Attendance Policies. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

Must be comfortable with manual labor
Experience with color matching & blending.
Experience with case goods repairs including burn-ins & wood graining.
Leather repairs including scuffs, holes, and tears.
Upholstery repairs including structural/mechanism replacements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with power and hand tools
High level of attention to detail and professionalism.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team
