Clear Channel Outdoor Job Summary: The General Ledger Accountant’s primary function is to complete all assignments necessary to ensure an accurate and timely monthly accounting close and to maintain an analysis of general ledger accounts to ensure each is fairly stated. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit general ledger journal entries to Corporate by the accounting close deadline to close the books each month accurately and timely.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned business units (domestic and Caribbean) to ensure each account is fairly stated.
  • Analyze and interpret airport lease agreements to ensure compliance with our reporting and payment requirements and adhere to contractual and corporate deadlines.
  • Work with Corporate to ensure accurate reporting of LOC’s, Bonds, property tax, and sales and use taxes in the U.S. and Caribbean as needed.
  • Preparation of ad hoc analysis as requested (ACS, ACDBE, Fixed Assets, etc.).
  • Support annual budget process.
  • Assist with internal & external audits by providing necessary financial data, supporting documentation, and explanations for audit inquiries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
