About The Position

TapBlaze, the creator of games such as Good Pizza, Great Pizza, is looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to support our Los Angeles studio. You will keep our office running smoothly, support team logistics, help with bookkeeping, payroll, HR coordination, and cross-office communication.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
  • Positive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Google Workspace, spreadsheets, email).
  • Great attention to details; please mention "beauty is in the details" in your application or cover letter.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work;
  • Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk and computer.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of office administration or office manager experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, payroll systems, or accounting software (Quickbooks).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the LA office is clean, organized, safe, and welcoming for team members and visitors.
  • Maintain office supplies, snacks, equipment, and inventory; track office budget.
  • Improve office processes and workflows.
  • Assist with travel planning, flight and hotel bookings, reimbursements, and itineraries.
  • Support onboarding logistics (desk setup, equipment requests, admin setup).
  • Planning team events, celebrations, and offsites.
  • Assist leadership with special projects.
  • Help collect and organize receipts, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Assist with maintaining financial records and communicating with our accounting firm.
  • Bookkeeping on Quickbooks.
  • Assist with coordinating timesheets, payroll inputs, and related documentation.
  • Support HR activities such as: Job postings, Application screening, Onboarding/offboarding, Maintaining employee records and help ensure compliance with basic HR policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with our Beijing office on coordination tasks.
  • Translate English and Mandarin as needed during meetings.
  • Help ensure smooth information flow across teams.
