About The Position

Our Douglasville location is staffing for our amazing client for a permanent position Please no phone calls - please submit updated resume to [e-mail] and [e-mail] Garage Door Installer Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Garage Door Installer to install, repair, and service garage doors. This role requires hands-on work, travel to local customer locations, and safe operation of tools and equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM $24 PER HOUR On-call rotation required for emergency after-hours service calls (on-call pay discussed during interview) After training, employee will report to the office daily to pick up and return company vehicle

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 150 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders frequently
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Steel-toe boots required

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace garage doors using various carpentry materials
• Travel to customer sites to complete service requests and product installations
• Lift, transport, and handle heavy materials and equipment
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain accurate work orders and time records
• Adjust or modify products to improve performance and functionality
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships during service visits
• Follow safety procedures and company standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
