About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Seasonal Gardener to join our team of three at our historic hot springs resort. With over 100 years of gardening tradition, our vegetable garden supplies fresh, seasonal produce to our award-winning restaurant, and our landscaped grounds provide a serene escape for our guests. Requirements

• Prior gardening or landscaping experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for 8+ hours in varying weather conditions.
• A passion for plants and an eye for detail.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage a large production vegetable garden to support the resort's kitchens.
• Maintain two greenhouses, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and consistent produce production.
• Care for floral installations and landscaped areas across the property, including watering, mulching, weeding, edging, deadheading, and raking.
• Prune and plant annual displays, herbaceous perennials, and woody plants with proper soil preparation techniques.
• Keep workspaces organized and return tools to their designated locations.
• Ensure walkways are well-groomed, safe, and accessible for guests.
• Regularly communicate with your manager and teammates to coordinate tasks and priorities.
• Use and care for company equipment responsibly.
