Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, highly skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and entry-level mechanical repairs on commercial trucks. This position supports fleet and customer vehicle safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Minimum of 1–2 years of diesel technician experience in diagnosing and repairing light, medium and heavy-duty trucks.
Experience performing PM related services.
Must have a valid driver’s license: CDL Preferred.
Must be able to lift 50lbs/push-pull 75lbs.
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT.

Nice To Haves

ASE certification preferred.
CDL certification preferred. (We will train)

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer and company standards, including inspections, lubrication, fluid, and filter replacement.
Inspect and perform clutch and brake adjustments and related repairs .
Inspect, service, and repair 5th wheel assemblies .
Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on heating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Conduct steering and suspension repairs , including replacement of related components.
Assist with drive train repairs , including drive lines, U-joints, and differentials.
Accurately document all work performed on repair orders and inspection reports.
Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic diagnostic equipment in a safe manner.
Perform state and federal safety inspections as trained and authorized.
Assist with emissions-related inspections and maintenance where applicable.
Comply with all company safety policies , DOT regulations, and applicable state and federal laws.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
