Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, highly skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and entry-level mechanical repairs on commercial trucks. This position supports fleet and customer vehicle safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of diesel technician experience in diagnosing and repairing light, medium and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Experience performing PM related services.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license: CDL Preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs/push-pull 75lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certification preferred.
  • CDL certification preferred. (We will train)

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer and company standards, including inspections, lubrication, fluid, and filter replacement.
  • Inspect and perform clutch and brake adjustments and related repairs .
  • Inspect, service, and repair 5th wheel assemblies .
  • Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on heating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Conduct steering and suspension repairs , including replacement of related components.
  • Assist with drive train repairs , including drive lines, U-joints, and differentials.
  • Accurately document all work performed on repair orders and inspection reports.
  • Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic diagnostic equipment in a safe manner.
  • Perform state and federal safety inspections as trained and authorized.
  • Assist with emissions-related inspections and maintenance where applicable.
  • Comply with all company safety policies , DOT regulations, and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
