The new physician will work in a traditional outpatient setting, providing general gastroenterology services with the support of dedicated clinical and administrative assistants. Physicians see an average of 25 to 30 patients per day; this number is adjusted based on type of appointment scheduled, patient needs, and provider preference. Ample support, resources, and assistants are always available to help as needed. The services of the practice include, but are not limited to: - consultations - follow-up visits - treatment of GI conditions - colonoscopy - capsule endoscopy - upper endoscopy - ERCP - colon cancer screening - nutrition counseling They see patients for such conditions as: - GERD - IBS - hemorrhoids - ulcerative colitis - Crohn's disease - abdominal pain - pancreas disease - acid reflux - and much more The practice uses an EHR.
