Essential Job Functions Coordinate daily inbound and outbound freight through assigned gateway locations Ensure accurate shipment documentation, system updates, and milestone tracking Monitor capacity, routing performance, and service levels across global lanes Communicate proactively with stations, airlines, trucking partners, and warehouse teams Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service integrity Oversee compliance with customs regulations, TSA/security requirements. Troubleshoot service disruptions, delays, and exceptions in real time Analyze shipment data and performance metrics to improve operational efficiency Support carrier negotiations and vendor management initiatives Assist in developing SOPs and process improvements within the gateway Other duties as assigned Other Skills & Abilities Technical competence (excel, word, power point etc.) Motivated, goal oriented High level of initiative and work well in a team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction Physical Requirements Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components Sitting for extended periods of time Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus Education & Experience High School Diploma/GED is required Bachelor's degree preferred 1 - 2 years of experience in freight forwarding CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES Professional certification may be required in this position.
