A GenAI UX Developer role focused on the hands-on implementation and front-end coding of user interfaces for Generative AI-powered applications. They translate designs into functional code and assist with the integration of AI models, working under the guidance of senior leaders or UX Architects. What You Will Do Front-End Implementation for GenAI Components: Develop and implement user interface components for products that integrate Generative AI capabilities, focusing on delivering clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code using standard frameworks. Design-to-Code Translation: Accurately translate provided wireframes and design specifications into functional, responsive front-end experiences. Assisted AI API Integration: Work with senior engineers to connect the front-end components to GenAI model APIs, assisting in the handling and display of AI-generated outputs. Implementing Standard AI Interaction Patterns: Implement pre-defined, common Generative AI interaction patterns, such as prompt input fields and mechanisms for displaying generated content and basic "thumbs up/down" feedback. Basic Performance and Usability: Develop code with a consideration for front-end performance and adhere to established usability and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG). Prototyping and Iteration: Build initial prototypes for testing specific GenAI interaction concepts based on clear direction and iterate on code based on gathered feedback. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in agile team meetings and collaborate primarily with UX/UI designers and back-end engineers to ensure design and code alignment. Leveraging GenAI in Workflow: Utilize GenAI tools to assist in their own coding and testing workflows.
