About The Position
Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital is seeking a per diem General Anesthesiologist to join its established anesthesia team. The hospital is a 175-bed, state-of-the-art facility offering a full range of medical and surgical services, including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, plastics, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, endoscopy, and family-centered maternity care. The hospital also serves as a training site for Jefferson residents and fellows. Position overview: You will work alongside a collaborative, well-supported anesthesia team consisting of anesthesiologists and CRNAs within an integrated department across the Jefferson system. This is a hospital-based per diem opportunity with flexible scheduling, ideal for physicians seeking supplemental shifts or schedule flexibility. Clinical details: • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases in hospital and ambulatory settings • Practice locations include OR, ASC, GI, IR, EPS, OB, and endoscopy • Approximately 5,000 cases annually • No trauma, transplants, or cardiac cases • Very minimal pediatrics and neurosurgery • Call opportunities may be available based on department needs • Call team model: 1 attending and 2 CRNAs Compensation: • Competitive per diem hourly rate • Additional compensation for extra hours, call, or extended shifts as applicable Why Jefferson Einstein Montgomery: Located in East Norriton, Pennsylvania, the hospital sits on an 87-acre campus in suburban Montgomery County, offering easy access to Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs.
