About The Position

Pruitt is seeking candidates to fill a General Assembly Technician position at our corporate headquarters in Fort Smith, AR. We assembly and refurbish Rotating Control Devices (RCD's) that are used in the oil and gas industry. Technicians in this position work in a job that is very hands-on and intensely mechanical in nature. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1 year experience working in an industrial setting (May include work in environments such as mechanical, construction, fabrication, etc.) We are seeking candidates who will be very detail oriented, able to manage their work in an organized manner, and are not afraid to get dirty. Additionally, qualified candidates will possess the ability to solve problems logically, be able to work without direct supervision in a team environment and have the persistence to see a job through from start to completion. Adherence to safety policies and procedures and the ability to follow verbal instructions are mandatory expectations. Candidate selected must pass a drug test as a condition of employment. The hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Incumbent may be required to work on Friday depending upon production needs.
