About The Position

PMM Companies is currently looking to fill positions in Largo, Maryland.

We are looking for General Cleaners, some experience is preferred, but not required. Full-time positions are available during overnight shift.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, Rotating Weekends (Every other weekend)

11:00PM-7:30AM

Summary:

Responsible for cleaning building and keeping areas neat and tidy by removing debris, buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, emptying trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail, cleaning of operating room
• Terminal cleaning procedures, Clean and disinfect laboratory equipment.
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
• Mix various cleaning agents, dispose of hazardous waste (bodily fluid)
• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the bedding, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging furniture
• Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift
• On call attention: Respond to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass
• Collect and remove trash and debris
• Perform detailed deep cleans when required with appropriate cleaning supplies
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect laboratory equipment.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
• Steam-clean carpets.
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
